On Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at 12 noon – 1 pm EST Penn State Law’s Center for Agricultural and Shale Law will be conducting a second webinar in its series titled “Quarterly Dairy Industry Legal Update” and will cover legal and regulatory developments in the U.S. dairy industry in the final quarter of calendar year 2020.
Each webinar in the series provides a 30-minute round-up of the past quarter’s legal and regulatory developments impacting the dairy industry followed by a 30-minute focused topic of interest to dairy producers and professionals.
The focused topic for the January 26, 2021 webinar will be a discussion of international trade agreement terms and on-going trade disputes impacting the dairy industry with Becky Rasdall, Vice-President of Trade Policy and International Affairs, International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA). In December, the United States Trade Representative initiated the first enforcement action under the USMCA with Canada and we will lay out the legal issues involved, as well as discuss international trade agreement dairy terms applicable to Mexico, China, the UK and the EU.
